2002 marks the ninth year for Viza-gogo, since the establishment of the Visualization Laboratory in 1988.

The Viz Lab continues to be one of the leading schools stressing both the technical and artistic aspects of the electronic visualization field. Student projects and research are displayed once a semester, in a Fall Show and in the Spring at Viza-gogo. However, Viza-gogo continues to be the best way to display our work outside of the College of Architecture and has increasingly become a draw for a much wider audience.

Alumni from the Viz Lab have gone on to work in companies such as Industrial Light + Magic (ILM), Pacific Data Images (PDI), PIXAR, Blue Sky Studios, Lucas Arts, Will Vinton Studios, Microsoft, Disney, and Rhythm & Hues.
